PCM was created by American psychologist and university professor Dr Taibi Kahler in 1970’s. ADVANCED TRAINING

In the times when our psychological needs don't get sufficient satisfaction for compensation negative stress (so-called "distress") reveal itself more often. Unconsciously we begin to be unconstructive, as opposed to any common sense. Unconstructive behavior brings us to conflicts of varying degrees with others, even to the point of breaking up a relationship. Those of us who are familiar with our own personality type and our own secondary characteristics, can consciously and timely detect the first signs of negative stress and prevent its escalation. Allow it avoid the destruction of constructive and good relations with others.

When stress increases, people "put on role masks", covering their real identity. The mask type indicates the state they are in. Understanding the role played by the mask allows us to adapt our own behavior in relation to the interlocutor in order to predict the stress and to return to constructive communication.
